Malaysia Latest Hot News......my comments.

Hot News 1 (or not so hot now...) - Khairy Jamaluddin

Where is Khairy Jamaluddin? He used to be sooo vocal before the General Election last month, but now he's been so quiet. What happen to him? It's kind of spooky because this Pak Lah favourite guy hasn't been in the media ever since after Malaysian election. Before the election result and ever since Pak Lah became the Prime Minister, this guy had been the normal face in M'sian media but now, not any more. How come? Speaking of which, I am reading a book by Malaysia Today about Khairy. Hmmmmmm now I understand why he suddenly appeared in M'sian politic scene. All I can say is, this guy is scary........What ever it is, I believe that Allah is the greatest. So Khairy, I really hope you realise that too. Arrrr....I wanted to say more things about him, but I can't (not here at least). But this guy (KJ) is someone all of us need to watch very closely and of course his friends too (the young Datuks/Dato's and millionaires/billionaires). Alrite, let's move on to the second news.

Hot News 2 - Safiah Farouq

Alahai.........apasal cam tu sekali Safiah?????? I heard before this about how Safiah the brilliant girl from London who got M'sian government scholarship to study at Oxford because her Mum is M'sian has gone wild. But it didn't across my mind that she's gonna sell her body for money! (refer to Utusan Malaysia/Berita Harian) I hope the news is not true. At the same time, this is not the first case of brilliant girl/boy/lady/man has gone wild with their 'brilliantness' (a new word I just created). Just look at Britney Spears (ok she's not brilliant but she's a good marketer), the Singaporean lady who had %*^&# with more than 20 guys at one time (I think her name is Chong) and other cases around us. Sometimes this girls just don't know how to handle their fame. It is very sad.....very, very sad because she can use her brilliant mind to get a real good job instead of being a h@#$%^. Why Safiah? Is this some kind of rebellious against your parents? Is this some kind of revenge for your Mum and Dad? Live is not as bad as you think it is girl. There are many other peoples who lived and still living in a worst situation than you, but they didn't end up like you young girl. Oh Safiah.....my prayer is for you to change your life style and have a good life after this. There are so many people who care for you especially your Mum. But even if you don't want to go back to your family, you can always seek help from other people and most importantly, from almighty Allah. Ask for help my dear. Oh Safiah. May Allah show you the way.

Hot News 3 - Mawi won the Bintang Popular Award (most popular artist) 2008 for the 3rd time

I'm not a big fan of millionaire Mawi, the Akademi Fantasi 3 reality show winner. But I like him. Why? Because I think he's the best icon of entertainment world for Malaysians. To me, the other Malaysian entertainers and celebrities are sad to say, not a good example for the public to follow. It's not that Mawi is perfect but he is the best one that M'sia has at the moment (I think). The existing singers/actors/personalities are too .....................fake! Well people been saying that he's so 'kampung' and stuff but maybe because I'm from 'kampung' too that's why I like him. To me he's the right icon for M'sians especially for 'kampung' people not just to become entertainers like him, but to work hard and achieve their dreams. To 'kampung' people especially, you can succeed in so many field, not just by becoming singer/actor. By study hard, work hard and pray hard you'll reach your dreams. All the best and good luck.

Also won during the award event was Siti Nurhaliza for the popular female singer for the 11th time in a row, congrats Siti. I like her mesmerise voice but when she sings English songs, eeeeeee I don't like it. It sounds funny because her singing style is not right I guess, but other than English songs I like it. Oh I heard she sang Dealova an Indo song (beautiful song), also terrible!!! But for Malay songs, she nailed it, BIG TIME! As for other aspects of her......I reserved my comment. But to me she's the better behave celebrity for female in M'sia compared to the others, including her not so popular younger sister so oklah. Tak nak komen panjang2.

Oh I LIKE it A LOT that Farah Fauzana won the popular Radio DJ. Well done girl, well done!!!!!! Linda Onn from Era LOST at last. Great news, such a great news. She beat Linda Onn who won the title for 6 times previously. I always looking forward for when Linda will get beaten by someone and this year, the public has spoken. I'm so happy.........well I used to admire Linda's talent in DJing and MCing, but for the past few years she's becoming too much (I think). The way she handles her talk show (Tanya Linda) was really crap! As a DJ she is still not too bad, but apart from that just 'perasan bagus' (thinks she so good). Who can forget when she was chosed to host this Academy Award 2007 in LA for Astro channel and chicken out on that very day!!!!!!!! She blamed it on her dress! Bah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Come on Linda, you have to give more than that lame reason. In fact, it is the lamest reason I've ever heard. Because your dress it too sexy? Hahahahahaha joke of the decadelah girl. Come onlah, you have to give us some credits dear. We M'sians are not that stupid ok. Same thing about your love life with Fahrin..........Alrite lets move on to the next hot news....

Apek also won! Glad to hear that, well done dude. You rock! I believe you are more than just a comedy actor. I still remembered when you joined the Sinaran Passport Kegemilangan competition, all of my family like you so much. We can see a huge potential in you but too bad you lost in the semi final (sorry we didn't vote for you in fact we didn't vote for anyone too). But now you proved to every one that you are more than just a comedian. You always make me smile and laugh. So keep rocking dude, and I'm looking forward for your first movie as a director. To me you are P.Ramlee in the making, your voice also not too bad. You can sing quite well Apek (better than the Akademi Fantasia contestants!!) so go for it. All the best!

And that's all that I have at the moment. The other winners who won that nite are not my favourites so I don't want to comment about them. Some even not in my 'good book' hahahaha like Rosyam Noor (oppsssss, personally he's very nice and his acting also not bad but he can be so 'perasan' sometimes and gave 'stupid' comments about a few issues so that's why I dislike him). But what ever it is, congrats to all the winners and hope you can give something back to the public. Actually I don't have the right to say much about who should win or not since I NEVER sent forms/txt or anything for my favourite artists (my family too). Yeah, I like entertainment world but that's it! No more...........

That's all for now. Till then, cheers.

P/S: The Akademi Fantasia 2 consert was terrible just like the 1st one. I don't understand why this sister to a very popular singer in M'sia keep on crying, sulking and so on because she can't handle the stage fright and pressure. So why do you want to become a singer after all??????????????????? I think your children need you more at home rather than you keep on crying all the times. Just go home. It's your choice girl.

It's Friday, I like!

Salam and hello. It's Friday again, part of me is so happy it's Friday but part of me is not because I have tons of work to submit next week. But that's life isn't it? Work, work and more work. I'm suppose to do a few things today, but I have so little of time. This morning I went to Vodofone shop to get a new mobile since I'm gonna give my daughter my current mobile phone, but the shop running out of mobile phones! The model that I'm interested in sold out for the second time. Grrrrrrr......tonight the M'sian students' association is organising Maulidur Rasul gathering at West End masjid (mosque - after this I'll use the word masjid in all of my entry alrite). Hence, I have to go back a little bit early to prepare some food to bring to the masjid. We M'sians and other Asians love food so much, that's why everytime we have gathering food is a must. Our light food means something like, fried mee and stuff. I'm planning to do "karipap" (something like curry puff) for this evening gathering. What am I going to wear huh? Hmmmmm a long skirt or baju kurung? The thing is that if baju kurung than I have to iron it (too lazy for that), and if long skirt, ala-ala glamour lah pulak nanti. What ever it is I have till 5 pm to think about it. I'm supposed to do work today at my office but as usual I ended up updating my blog. It's so typical you see, when I have the mood to do work, people in my office started to scream, laugh and all. When I don't have the mood to work, the office will be soooooooooooooo queit. How cruel.

I think I'm coming to the office tomorrow to do some work. My daughter will have to stay at home or I'll send her to Bibi's room hahaha (I have to ask Bibi on this). But I won't be long since I'm planning to invite a few people to eat at my flat. But it is still not confirm yet because I have to think of the menu. Nasi lemak ke nasi biasa? Oh that remain me to browse the receipi website....Ok got to do it now before I'm off for today. Till then, take care and cheers.

Sounds promising Minister.....

Hello to all. Today the new Minister of Higher Education, Dato' Khaled Nordin made an interesting announcement. He says, the public universities in M'sia will be given more power to make their own decision on policies, rules and regulations. At last, some ministers do have a brain! Not to say that some of them don't have a brain, but they hardly use it sometimes. All the want to think is, for their ownself. So Dato' Khaled hopefully after this you will continue giving more brainy ideas and come with good plan for the public universities in M'sia. It's about time the public universities are given more power to do what they like as long as it brings benefit to M'sians. I'm sure the academicians at the unis know what they want to do because they are brainy too, just like the politicians! Most of us have tons of great ideas but we can't implement it due to so many red tapes by the government. So just let us run the unis our way and we'll leave the politicians to run the country your way, promise! Like I said earlier, as long as it will bring the good for the country. Maybe now my department will have our own course after 8 years of battling at the faculty level, university level and ministry level. If not, I might end up staying in Aussie for good. Even though M'sia is always inside me but at times I'm quite frustrated how things being handled over there. Not to say that Aussie's system is spotless, but at least they are one step ahead of us. So pak Menteri semua sila ambil perhatian........................

Till then, cheers. Nak tidurlah. Ta

A FUN BREAK.

Yup last Easter (the spelling is this one or Esther?) break was a fun one. Me and my other friends including my daughter Ija went to Sunshine Coast, Queensland. It was a 1 and the 1/2 hours drive from BNE and it was quite dramatic as well. First, it was very hard to rent a car. Second, the rental price gone up so high compared to normal day. Third, our booking got cancelled when we went to pick up the car at the car rental office!!!!!!! It was Abel rent a car....(thank you!). Anyway, thank God one of our friends managed to get hold of this van and all of us were squeezed in the van and another car. When we almost reached Sunshine Coast, the temperature went up. After they checked the water tank, it was totally empty.....oh Gosh! But nothing bad happen. So after we refilled the water tank, the van happily took us to Bli-bli Castle. The entrance fees was AUD 10 and it wasn't that bad, but it wasn't that good either. It was errrrr.........too simple I should say. The collections was a bit 'buruk' no new additonal to the collections. For adult, it could be boring.......anyway the castle design and architecture is nice. If they put more attractions inside the castle, it will be better.

Second stop was this small scale theme park (forgot the name). It was quite expensive to take the rides inside there so I decided to try my hand on mini golf with my daughter. Surprisingly my point wasn't that bad. We have 18 holes and my point was 22 par (is that how you report it?). I came in 4th. place from out of 7 people playing, so it wasn't that bad at all wasn't it? After all that was my first try. So gitulah citernya, I might think of playing golf after this hahahaha. Third stop was at this beautiful beach for our heavy picnic. Poor the 'mat salleh' terkejut tengok the amount of food we have on the table. Really like a big feast with rice and all. After eating some of us went to swim including my daughter. I was just watching her from the beach, she seemed to enjoy herself. It was the first trip for both of us to Sunshine Coast. I'm glad she enjoyed herself. After that, we drove for 1 hour to Red Cliff beach, and had our BBQ there. By that time all of us were already tired with eating and with the journey. We packed our stuff around 9.30 pm and headed home. We reached home at 11.30 pm. To me, the trip was a fun trip with friends and make us become closer to each other. We might have another similar trip to a different location next month or something. The total cost also was not too expensive as we divided equally among ourselves. For me and my daughter we just had to pay AUD 30 for the van rental and the petrol. For attractions, the cost was AUD 33 and the food was around AUD 20. So not badlah kan...............

The following day of Easter break that was on Sunday 23/03 a friend of mine did this 'akekah' ceremony for their new born baby girl. Makan freelah yihooooo, thank you Kamal and Zalifah, senang2 buatlah lagi ye. The food was nice too, nasi minyak, ayam masak merah and kari kambing. The last day of Easter break that is today 24/03 I went to DFO with Naim. So apa lagi shoppinglah. Kesian Ija tak dpt ikut sebab kereta dah penuh, but I bought her a new Swatch watch and shoes. Petang pulak, ada jemputan makan2 dkt rumah Aini & Firdaus so, makan free lagi. The nasi ayam and lontong was very nice. Thanks people. I feel so loved with all these kind invitation. Oklah nak tidurlah dah ngantuk plak. Till then, take care and cheers.

Betul ke tu.....? Is it true?

Lately I like to read news about M'sian political happening. So dramatic........yg itu tuduh yg ini, yg ini tuduh yg itu. Gossip org2 politik lagi hebat dari gossip artis2 lately ni. Pak Lah and a few BN leaders claimed the opposition parties is trying to 'buy' BN people who won during last election. But the opposition parties denied the claimed................hmmmm yg mana 1 betul ni? Pak Lah ke the opposition? From what I can see even though I'm not in M'sia the claimed could be true to some extent. Opposition said they don't have money to 'buy' BN people but hey come on lah........aren't some of you got heavy sponsorship from a few bodies abroad (aye Anwar Ibrahim)? In politics nothing is impossible so Pak Lah what are you going to do about it? You are facing with a very HUGE problem not only within BN but also with the rest of Malaysians. Maybe you should sit down with Ku Li who offered alternative way to UMNO people (you know what it is lah) and come with a good way to make everyone happy. Maybe you should sit down with opposition leaders who are patriotic of being Malaysian like Dr Tan the MP of Kepong, (is it?) from DAP, Nik Aziz the Kelantan MB from PAS and a few others (but not Anwar please, he always slam M'sia abroad, so to me he's not patriotic....) and come up with a good solution for a better Malaysia.

For the past few year after Tun Mahathir's era (Pak Lah can include him too in the meeting mentioned above) there's none of M'sian success story aired in the international media except for the Hindraf (to me it was really over doing, come on lah......). Malu lah weiiiii apalah, geram sgt. I mmg marah sgt, marah dgn everyone..............Like other M'sian I am so proud of our country (errr except for a few people like AI and etc), but laltely me and other M'sian are not so happy with a few leaders running the country. A few here means more than 10 leaders like......errr I reserved my comment. But at least I'm so happy that Effendi Norwawi's name wasn't listed as a Minister. I think he's a nice guy personally by as a Minister he was a failure, BIG TIME failure. Perhaps he should stick to what his wife is doing in the entertainment business, plus his wife personality doesn't really suit as a Minister's wife. She tried her best, but againg BIG TIME failure Tiara. You should stick to your acting, wife and mother lah, Minister's wife doesn't suit you I think. What ever it is I really hope M'sia will have a great success this year and in the future and produce world class leaders after I finish my study here in Aussie hahahaha. Good luck to Pak Lah (you need it, seriously....) and everyone in Malaysia. Take care and cheers.

Hola! At last I'm a bit free today, that is 1 day before Easter so I had to run here and there to stock up few things. Most of the shops will close for four days and being me who like to eat, I better have enough food at home. After all what other activities can you do on Easter break? We are planning to go up to Sunshine Coast for 1 day. We managed to rent a small car but the price went up double than the usual rate. Well 1 day is enough for me I guess, since I have a few things to do and to submit after the break. But I really wanna go to Direct Factory Outlet shops............Haiya, whylah they close on Easter, and when I have a car (renting). So maybe (just maybe) now I have to postpone my plan to DFO. Oh before that I just want to wish all the Muslims around the world a very Happy Maulidur Rasul. Yup today is our prophet Mohammad's s.a.w birthday. I hope all of Muslims and other faith can live happily ever after on this planet, together. Of course there are some good Muslims and some bad Muslims, it's just the same in other faith too. Hence, let's make this world a better place for all human being to leave. Because the huge majority of us are GOOD people.

Living abroad in a different environment sometimes you came across funny situation. What ever it is, it makes your life experience become richer and greater. I didn't travel much but I went to a few countries like Jordan, Turkey, Thailand (of course, our neighbour ma! and of course very near to my parents house too), Singapore (also our neighbour), New Zealand (stayed there for 4 years, almost didn't go back home), Australia (so far only staying in Queensland), Narita airport (waited inside the airport there for 6 hours for a connecting flight to LAX), and the USA (Carlifornia, Colorado, Tenesse, Denver and Washington). I had some funny situations as well as bad incidents too. But interestingly (to me at least) the bad incidents normally happen were between me and other fellow M'sian. With foreigners so far I can't really think one......but when I was travelling in US for 3 weeks. It was fun.....to some people they might take it as offending but to me it was fun. To me, the immigration and security people at the airport just trying to do their work. If you give full cooperation, they won't 'disturb' you. Trust me! When I was there, almost every time I checked in at the airport I'll be singled out and asked to go for a second screening. But they were very polite about it......and since I didn't have anything to hide, I was more than happy to follow their instruction. At least, I went through their 'strict' process and got out of it unharmed!!!!!!!!! So I'm a living proof of being into so many securities at the US airports and got through with flying colors. So people, don't be afraid with the US airport security, they are very nice people. Unless if you have something to hide.................than you have to be very scared. Ok that's all for now. Will write again later. Happy Easter and wassalam. Cheers

The new line up of Malaysian ministers........ermmmm why am I not impressed?

Hello and salam to all. Prime Minister, Dato' Abdullah Ahmad Badawi has announced the new line up of ministers for M'sia after the worst performance of Barisan Nasional in an election history. Frankly speaking, I'm quite happy that a few names didn't appear but again who said those who are not a minister can't be powerful? The opposition parties proved that without power also you can be as powerful as the ministers or the PM, early this month. New ministers mean new style, new rules and regulation and bla bla bla......boring. We have to revamp the whole thing sometimes just to suit to the new policies introduced by the new minister. So, I'm glad that I'm abroad now. It's quite shocking that Dato' Rafidah Aziz was not listed. Well I'm not really a big fan of her lately, BUT I must admit that she wasn't that bad as compared to other male ministers themselves. Can't wait to hear her comment after this. Is she gonna react like Dato' Zainuddin Mydin? What about Dato' Shahidan Kassim? Is he going to pay a revenge? How about Dato' Khir Toyo? He's so queit nowadays (what are you going to do with all the brooms?), last time he's quite vocal............Oh what the crap, all of these are politics. In politic anything can happen. 1 second you can be an enemy but within another second you can be lover so..............nothing new. Ok got to do some work now. To all the new appointed ministers and deputy ministers good luck and all the best. Work hard and rajin2lah melawat kawasan ye. Berat mata memandang, berat lagi bahu yg memikul. Till then. Cheers

Am I a blogger now?

Salam and hello to all. Hey 1 important question I have to ask, am I considered as a blogger now? Ok this is my first entry in my own blog and it's kind of funny since I'm just randomly writing without any ideas of what I'm going to write. Actually I have to do my writing and reading work but, I opted for starting my own blog instead. Wait until my supervisor knows about this, he's going to be so furious. Anyway, I didn't know that creating your own blog can be that easy. Before this I was reading other people's blogs but now I have my own blog. What a feeling........This blog is purely for fun. You know being alone overseas (well technically not alone but I consider myself as alone anyway........) with limited activites you can do blogging is the next decent thing you can do. This is 'kewl' I can't wait to explore more of blogging world. Ok, enough said, have to do some work now and plus need to concentrate on CSI New York show. Will write more after this. So wish me luck with my new 'toy' and peace everyone. Cheers.
